Let’s get this out of the way: Cryptocurrency is a deeply flawed universe. It’s rife with scams and empty promises. But, there is a side to it that is good. In 2021, while recuperating from a hip surgery, I learned a few things about computer generated art. Using some simple scripts, I was able to compile hundreds of hand drawn elements to create 10,000 unique illustrations. They were quirky characters with a sort of nostalgic child-like feeling. Shortly after, I organized a sale where proceeds would be given to an LGBTQ+ charity. In a matter of hours, we raised over $150,000. This donation was later matched and together we made a donation north of $300,000 to a small group of charitable organizations. Below is a sampling of the illustrations.
